Men’s Journal chose Pittsburgh’s own E2 when identifying the top 10 places in America worth visiting for brunch.

“The weekend brunch at Pittsburgh’s E2 features smartly-made takes on a number of standards: French toast, polenta, eggs and sausages can all be found on the menu in a variety of delicious-looking combinations. There’s also an excellent willingness to embrace fried dough here: the menu opens with an array of doughnuts, zeppoli and beignets,” writes Men’s Journal.

The restaurant, headed by Kate Romane in Highland Park, serves both dinner and brunch as well as a “big, fat family-style dinner” on the last Sunday of each month.

E2 appears on the list alongside such eateries as Fish and Game of Hudson, NY, Clyde Common in Portland, and The Boiler House in San Antonio.
