Leah Lizarondo, Chief Veghacker & Founder of The Brazen Kitchen, shares her itinerary for the week of April 21 in NEXT Up.

Monday: Headed to an undisclosed location in Pittsburgh with my friends Stosh and Natalie Perkowski to hunt for some ramps! They are very protective of the location because they want to protect it from over-foraging. And I totally support that! Then going to get some yoga on in the afternoon at The Yoga Hive.

Tuesday: I’m spending the morning at CMU’s Tepper School of Business with Tim Cunningham’s Entrepreneurship in the Creative Industries class. I may bring my 18-month old to show these kids that “leaning in” has more than one definition. 🙂
Wednesday: Headed to the Pittsburgh Public Market to get some Clarion River Organics produce. I am so excited to see some local spring greens! In the afternoon, I’m spending about a half hour working out with my friend and trainer Melissa Jenkins of Green Rocks Fitness in Shadyside.
Thursday: I am at The Beauty Shoppe seeing health counseling clients today. I love supporting individuals on their journey to better health—and showing them how healing with food is delicious and liberating!
Friday: Having dinner at Bar Marco with my TEDxGrandviewAve cohorts. Final rehearsals before the big event on Saturday.
Saturday: 10 a.m. call time for TEDxGrandviewAve at the New Hazlett Theater. It will be a busy and fun day, ending with an awesome after-party at The Aviary.
Sunday: Family day. Taking it easy with the family and enjoying the spring weather. Probably going to get some brunch at Eden in Shadyside, then coffee from Taza d’Oro and heading to Highland Park for some skateboarding and biking.
