“It’s showtime!”

On Monday night, the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust revealed the lineup for the 2019-2020 season of PNC Broadway in Pittsburgh, its annual musical series. And they shared big news for the 2020-2021 season: Smash-hit “Hamilton” will be back.

The 2019-2020 roster includes a mix of new award winners and old favorites, including the Tony-winning “The Band’s Visit,” the venerable “Les Miserables” and both standard and sensory-friendly performances of “The Lion King.”

In addition to seeing these and many other fine productions, season ticket holders will receive priority seating when “Hamilton” returns to Pittsburgh during the 2020-2021 season.

Around 1500 people packed the Benedum Monday night for the announcement and program which included an appearance of the captivating band from The Band’s Visit (they played several numbers) and solo performances from Mean Girls, A Bronx Tale and Miss Saigon.
