Be inspired by the art, ideas and passion of Candy Chang this Thursday. For the next edition of its Inspire Speakers Series, Green Building Alliance is welcoming the internationally renowned public artist.

Exploring “the intersection of art, public space, emotional health and community,” the event kicks off at 4:30 p.m. with networking, food and drinks. At 5:30 p.m., Chang will present a dynamic lecture, which will be followed by a Q&A.

Learn about how Chang, a leader in participatory public art, transforms built environments into contemplative spaces for community engagement. Event emcee Majestic Lane will moderate an interactive discussion with Chang, who will be joined by local artists John Peña and Edith Abeyta.

Chang is perhaps best-known for her global community art project, “Before I Die,” which encompasses some 4,000 wall installations in 70 countries.
